Web Banner Design Contest

We are currently looking to reinvent the look and feel of http://www.minnanoanime.org and in doing so, we need a new banner.

If you are an artist, photographer, or just proficient with photoshop, keep reading!

Please submit all entries to minna-no-anime@calpoly.edu with the Subject line "Web Banner Contest Entry".

Requirements:
* Goal: Create a creative and attractive banner for the minnanoanime.org header
* Should mention "Minna No Anime" with text or in kanji, or a logo (see current banner and http://www.mnalibrary.org/mnahistory/MNA_Logo)
* High quality is a plus
* The size must ultimately be 960x160 pixels
* The banner must not use any copyrighted material
* The banners colors do NOT have to match the current websites colors as the websites colors will be altered to match the banner
* Submissions are due September 1st

Are we only allowed to enter one entry or can we give several?
And does MnA have an official mascot? Or can the artists make up a character/creature/etc.?
