Live Subtitling, or Livesubs, were introduced to the club by [[Dylan Hall]] in 2001 with [[Revolutionary Girl Utena - Adolescence of Utena]]. Livesubs are subtitles overlaid [[raw]] [[R2]] DVDs with a computer, taking subs either written from scratch or transcribed subs from [[Digisub|digisubs]]. This was introduced to help those in the club not fluent in Japanese understand the subtitle-lacking R2s some members collected.
