What goes on during the Minna no Manga meetings?

Generally, people sit and talk/play games on their laptops/read. You know, just generic stuff. It's also when the people involved in whatever con skit do their rehearsing.

Glad you asked.
All sorts of things can take place during Minna no Manga:
-some people come to chat about anime/manga/video games
-some people actually bring manga for others to read
-some bring games such as Apples to Apples or Munchkin
-some work on homework/get help/give help to/from others
-dinner runs at campus market
-on a rare occasion people bring video games
-planning for future events/fanime/Halloween party/open house
-in past years we did practice for fanime masquerade skits/dances/cosplay
-some people occasionally walk back with us to BATcave (formerly Rocket's) to hang out some more
-much much more
-???

Some people also bring laptops and try and watch anime/play youtube videos/etc., but usually the room volume's too high to hear anything. XD

It's really a social 4-hour event to just hang out with people. Or you can be anti-social if you want (but... not actually anti-social? Like, you're surrounded by people?), but it's fun to get to talk to others that share your interests~

Apparently Evan and I have talked each other into bringing my extraordinarily fugly Atari 800 computer (Manuf'd 1979, so older than Nik and I) for some seriously retro 8-bit gaming huddled in a corner somewhere. Otherwise, you could pay your dues and replace "attendee (DUES UNPAID)" with "MNA Member". Not sure what other people have up.

There is no real "standard" in Minna no Manga. I can't really say whether this one will be particularly special or not until we get there (most things tend to come up very... spontaneously). I know at the very least I'm bringing Apples to Apples tonight for those interested so we at LEAST have that. Other people might be bringing other things to do... Heck, I might even bring some manga if I can find some... (not even sure if I brought any here)

EDIT: Beaten to the punch. Looks like we'll have retro games this week
