I'm not a Poly student, can I still come watch anime?

Everything on the site says "Cal Poly's Anime Club". I live in the area, but I'm not a student... can I still get involved in your club?

Of course you can. Our club is very inclusive and welcomes all sorts of people from nearby areas including a few graduates, Cuesta students, and even local High Schoolers. You technically don't even have to be a member to just come and watch shows with us. It is encouraged to become a member to gain extra benefits such as voting rights for stuff like Halloween party contests, voting for next year's officers, getting discounts, and much more. Again, even non-students may become members simply by paying the membership fees. We'd love to see new faces at club, so please feel free to drop by.

EDIT: If you haven't noticed elsewhere, our meeting times are every Saturday evening in the Business building of Cal Poly 03-213 from 5pm-10pm. We also have Thursday meetings from 6pm-10pm in a room that changes every quarter based on availability, so our current room is still TBA. If you would like to join us then, we usually socialize a lot more on Thursdays and do our weekly showings on Saturdays.

From the frontpage:

We have been assigned 10-227 for Minna no Manga this year, that is the third largest room in that building (seats 54 people, as opposed to 220- seats 62 or 231- seats 56).
I need to fix Sumomo...

From what I heard that's the room we have for Fall Quarter and we will have to wait until Cal Poly does room assignments for Winter/Spring quarters until we can reserve rooms then.

Main page has been updated to correct this inaccuracy.

does this club meet throughout the year? I just moved back to the area after attending college in LA, we were on a semester system so club meetings were only in the fall and spring...this definitely sounds like alot of fun to go and hang out...
