[Halloween Party] SUPER LAST-MINUTE ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

Halloween Party Saturday 10am-10pm in Room 3-111, 3-112 and 3-213(silo) and will replace regularly scheduled lineup. It will include the following:

-----Anime Trivia: Set on a Jeopardy style board, answer anime-based questions.
-----Anime Eyes: Pictures start pixilated and slowly become clearer/crisper. Guess the anime characters quickly!
-----Pumpkin Carving: Bring an awesome pumpkin, this IS a Halloween party after all! Make them anime-themed for bonus points.
-----Cosplay: What would an anime club at Halloween be without cosplay? Dress in your best and see what everyone thinks of your threads.
-----Art Contest: Self explanatory. Test your artistic talent against other members.
-----AMV Contest: Create an AMV that will amaze us all!
-----Karaoke: Not a contest, but if you want to request a specific song to sing your lungs out on.
-----Have contest entries done ahead of time!
-----Participation in Trivia OR Anime Eyes is required for GRAND PRIZE! (We recommend entering in as much as possible though)
-----Cosplay will be weighted very heavily in judging. It is no longer required as in past years, but we still recommend you try.

Here's our (tenative) schedule (subject to change if rounds end earlier/later than projected):
10:00-12:00 Set-up (sign up for contests)
12:00-12:45 First round Trivia (Room 3-111 or 3-112)
12:45-1:30 First round Anime Eyes (Room 3-111 or 3-112)
1:30-2:15 Second round Trivia (Room 3-111 or 3-112)
2:15-3:00 Second round Anime Eyes (Room 3-111 or 3-112)
3:00-3:45 Third round Trivia (Room 3-111 or 3-112)
3:45-4:30 Third round Anime Eyes (Room 3-111 or 3-112)
4:30-5:15 Trivia Finals (Room 3-111 or 3-112)
5:15-6:00 Anime Eyes Finals (Room 3-111 or 3-112)
6:00 Move to Silo. Begin Karaoke, pizza, stuff.
7:00 After-dinner contests start (Pumpkin, Art, AMV, Cosplay-likely in that order). Will start each one after previous is finished.
8:30-9:00 Judging (More Karaoke in the meantime)
9:00 Judging results/prizes (followed by more Karaoke)

There is no video game room this year as nobody offered to run it/supply games.
There will be a video room. I am told they will primarily show Halloween-themed anime and take requests. (Room 3-111 or 3-112. Whichever is not used for Anime Eyes/Trivia)

Deadlines (IMPORTANT!!!!!)
*All after-dinner contest entries are due BEFORE 7:00. We will not accept any entries once the contests have begun.
*To be eligible for prizes for any contests, you must be a paid member BEFORE that contest starts. $2 for Fall quarter or $5 for full year.
*If you wish to submit a copy of your entry electronically, please send to minna-no-anime@calpoly.edu with an attachment for pictures or link to AMV at least an hour before the deadline (in other words, before 6:00). This is to ensure I have enough time to download attachments and make sure they can properly run/display on my computer as well as QC to ensure safety of content.
*If at all possible, have entries to me by Friday night/Saturday morning (again, this is so I can QC entries as much as possible).
