There are forums restricted to members-only for the interest of keeping spam-bots out and a few club events secret (tho not really). If you are interested in becoming a part of our awesome (<-me being completely unbiased) community, feel free to make an account and chat with our other members/officers. We're really friendly and nobody will bite... Well, I can actually think of a few people who might bite if you actually asked them to, but that's beyond the point.
Anyways, my rambling aside, this section of the forum is set aside for passer-bys such as yourself who may be curious as to who we are, what we do, or anything of that like. So far you are the first non-member to wander through our forum, so congratulations on finding us, and sorry there's not much else to see at the moment. Anyways, if you have any more questions, there are many of us sitting here tapping F5 waiting for something interesting (like this) to happen.

Well first things first, a general rule is that we don't watch anything that has been on TV [anything on adult swim or Cartoon Network etc...].
Another rule is that we only show licensed anime [usually]. This rule is in place mainly because of legal issues. We can't show fansubs officially because that would be considered pirating and we can get in trouble that way. We do have "fansub of the week" which is the first episode of a fansub of this seasons anime. Otherwise we try to balance out the schedule with things from every genre. We do show some R2s, which are in-house fansubbed.
Also, if you can't tell already, we only show subs. =D

Of course you can. Our club is very inclusive and welcomes all sorts of people from nearby areas including a few graduates, Cuesta students, and even local High Schoolers. You technically don't even have to be a member to just come and watch shows with us. It is encouraged to become a member to gain extra benefits such as voting rights for stuff like Halloween party contests, voting for next year's officers, getting discounts, and much more. Again, even non-students may become members simply by paying the membership fees. We'd love to see new faces at club, so please feel free to drop by.
EDIT: If you haven't noticed elsewhere, our meeting times are every Saturday evening in the Business building of Cal Poly 03-213 from 5pm-10pm. We also have Thursday meetings from 6pm-10pm in a room that changes every quarter based on availability, so our current room is still TBA. If you would like to join us then, we usually socialize a lot more on Thursdays and do our weekly showings on Saturdays.
